Also on the second day, the ferry went up the Geiranger Fjord with its incredibly steep cliffs and mountains. At the end of that fjord is the village of Geiranger, seen in the middle of the photo. In Geiranger, I took a bus ride through the mountains and the town of Molde, meeting and reboarding the Nordlys in Ålesund.
