Here is a photo of Ålesund from atop a small mountain next to the town. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day. Normally, this panoramic view would be fabulous. The town of Ålesund had a huge fire in the early 1900's and almost the entire town at that time was rebuilt completely in art deco style.
