One of my first trips outside of the Bergen area was to Stegen Farm on the Aurlands Fjord (an offshoot of the Sogne fjord, the largest in Europe). Stegen is owned by Dee and Hega Cunningham. Dee (nephew of H.D. Hoover) went to Norway to teach, and married Hega, a Norwegian.
