In downtown Bergen is this statue of Ole Bull above a strange water creature playing a harp. There are various tales about this statue. One is that the creature is a troll who Ole Bull lured into the sunlight with his beautiful violin playing. Another is that it is the music spirit of nature and represents Ole Bull's interest in melding Norwegian folk music with classical music.
