Welcome to Steve Alessi's Photos of Norway.

These pictures were taken during my ten months in Norway, from September 2000 through June 2001.

Most of them are of the city of Bergen and surrounding area. I lived in Bergen and taught for a semester at the University of Bergen.

Other photos are from trips up the Norwegian coast, to Oslo, and to the Aurland Fjord area between Bergen and Oslo.

IMPORTANT: For these slides to display correctly, you need a monitor resolution setting of at least 1024 by 768. Larger is OK, but that size is optimal. You should also have colors set to thousands or millions. Lastly, your default text size might affect how much the text overlaps the photos, so you might need to increase or decrease it.
